Dimsum is one of the most favorite Chinese traditional cuisine and almost all over area in Jakarta, you are not difficult to find a Dimsum restaurant. Actually, not many dimsum restaurants that have many variants of food besides dimsum, especially with the large variety of food and dessert at an affordable price. But fortunately, Yumzaa Dimsum and More has it all. Dimsum is usually linked with the older tradition from Yum Cha (tea tasting). And as the name implies, Yumzaa whose name derives from Yum Cha offering dimsum as their main dishes. Traditional dim sum brunch includes various types of steamed buns such as cha siu pao, dumplings and rice noodle rolls, which contain a range of ingredients, including beef, chicken, prawns and vegetarian options. Dim sum can be cooked by steaming and frying, among other methods. More precisely, dimsum is a style of cantonese cuisine prepared as small bite-sized portions of food, traditionally served in small steamer baskets or on small plates. The serving sizes are usually small and normally served as three or four pieces in one dish. Because of the small portions, people can try a wide variety of food.

The interior of Yumzaa is neatly designed with simple and modern style. Dominated by white and orange colors with wood elements and warm lighting, make it feels clean, cozy, and homey ambiance. Yumzaa also has an open kitchen so the customer can see directly the chef who prepares their order.

Steamed Bun with Salted Egg Yolk Filling

The appearance of this salted egg bun is very tempting, with a golden yellow color. The steamed bun itself has a soft texture with messy salted egg yolk filling. But to be honest, it tastes a little sweet whereas I had expected a more salty taste.
