Raa Cha is a Thai concept restaurant that serves Thai Suki and BBQ. Word ‘Raa Cha’ taken from Thai language means ‘King’. This is not an all you can eat restaurant, but a self-service restaurant that you can choose different kinds of vegetables, seafood balls, mushroom, and seasoned beef and chicken meats.
When coming into the restaurant, you’ll be guided to food display counter. You choose what you want to eat and drink, put them in the tray and pay at the cashier. The price itself is very affordable. Vegetables are put in the tray with a different color or tagged with the color sign which indicates the price. There are White (IDR 3,636), Red (IDR 4,545), Yellow (IDR 5,909), and Green (IDR 6,818).
in the meat section, there are seasoned chicken and beef that you can choose. The seasoning is limited in sweet, salty, and spicy. The price range is between IDR 18,181 – IDR 21,818.
At drink station, there are many drinks available to choose. There are Lemon Tea, Thai Ice Tea, Thai Green Tea, Thai Ice Coffe, Ice Green Tea, and Hot Ocha. Price range for drinks is from IDR 6,364 – IDR 14,545. All drinks no refill and the ice cube is free. So, we’ll suggest you fill the glass until full, and take the ice cube in the separate glass. LOL
Once seated, your table will be equipped with personal cooking equipment. A mini pot for suki and mini grill pan for barbecue. Such a fun experience when you cook your food in mini cookware. LOL
Steamed rice is available at the cashier. You’ll be asked by the cashier if you want to add steamed rice for IDR 5,454. Before you start to eat, don’t forget to take some sauces. There are 4 sauces available at the counter, Garlic Sauce, Raacha (peanut) Sauce, Suki (chili) Sauce), and Soy Sauce. Our most favorite sauce is garlic sauce, but all of the sauce are equally delicious. So, this is what we have for dinner.. 😀
Thai Suki
Their suki soup is available in chicken broth and tom yum flavor.If you dine in with two people or more, you can request different flavor for soup in every pot. Both of them are delicious.
BBQ
The BBQ was truly delicious, especially the sweet beef BBQ. The salted chicken is good, but not memorable for us. The beef was seasoned well, it’s savory with the right level of sweetness. For more comforting taste, don’t forget to dip into the garlic sauce. It’s really really good and makes me addicted to their Beef BBQ!
Overall, Raacha offering organic, fresh, healthy, tasty Thai food with personal cooking equipment and unique serving to get exciting cooking experience. The food has many variants and it tastes very good, especially the sweet beef BBQ. Although it’s not an all you can eat restaurant, you just pay for you take and the price was reasonable too. It’s definitely a very recommended restaurant for Suki & BBQ lover.
