Last weekend, Food In Love visited TOT AW in Kelapa Gading area. TOT AW means Totally Awesome! If you missed your childhood moments, you can visit this place to experience their food that served in a unique concept.
TOT AW is located at Jalan Hibrida Raya, Kelapa Gading, at the opposite of Penabur 5 High School .The place is pretty small, it has a modern yet simple design with wooden tables and white chair. There is a wall painted in Tosca color with full of math and physics formula which align to their concept. If you need to smoking, there is a table outside that you can use, since there is no smoking room in here.
TOT Kering Sambel Tahu
In TOT AW, TOT Kering refers to Indomie Goreng (fried noodle). There are also TOT Basah (Indomie kuah / soup noodle) and TOT Becek (noodle served with egg mixed with the broth). TOT Kering Sambel Tahu is one of the new menus from TOT AW and it’s crazily good. We really love their tahu goreng (fried tofu) and the sambal will hooked you up!
FYI, there are many toppings that you can choose, such as Black Egg, Meatballs, Cheese, Chocolate, Salted Egg, and Kornet for IDR 4,000 and Spicy Wings for IDR 8,000). If you like spicy, there are also many kinds of Indonesian sambal that you choose as toppings for only IDR 4,000 per serve. There are Sambal Dabu, Rica Tuna, Peda, Hebi, Kemangi, Balado Tongkol, Teri, Bawang Putih, Daun Jeruk, Bawang, Sambal Ijo, Sambal Tauco, Sambal Kemiri, Sambal Matah, Jeruk Limo, Original, Belimbing, Bawang Merah, Sambal Item, Sambal Terasi.
One portion of Indomie will never enough, right? TO satisfy your tummy, there’s ALL YOU CAN EAT package. Yes, you spell it right! You’ll get free flow Indomie with chosen topping and free flow ice tea for only IDR 28,000 !
TOT Nasi Pedas
Besides Indomie, TOT AW also serve rice menu. We’ve tried their new Nasi Pedas (Warning: It’s INSANELY HOT !!!). We’re sweat as a way to finish this but enjoying this Nasi Pedas so much!
TOT Bread Taro
TOT Bread means grilled bread with toppings. We love the well-toasted bread with butter, it makes the bread taste salty in addition to the topping flavor. It serves with taro sauce and oreo crumbs as the topping, we think it’s a good point since usually many vendors use taro powder as grilled bread topping instead of taro sauce. Totally Awesome!
TOT Bread Nutella
TOT Bread Nutella serves with Nutella sauce and Marie Regal Biscuit. This one is also as good as the Taro one. But in our opinion, even though tastes good but it’s still lacking of Nutella flavor.
TOT Mayak (Mango Yakult)
This is one of the drinks selection in TOT AW besides Soda Susu, Syrup, and Ice Tea. But to be honest, it’s not live up our expectation. It tastes like just a mango syrup and lack of Yakult flavor.
Overall, TOT AW offers a simple yet tasty food with a unique concept. It brings back our old time memories when we brings a lunch box for school. Not only the concept but their food, especially their TOT Pedes (Sambal Topping) and TOT Bread was TOTally AWesome!
