PIRING EMAS RESTO – Lippo Mall Puri

Indonesian restaurant always makes us amazed when they can highlight the original flavor of Indonesian cuisine with a great taste. The latest addition to our favorite is Piring Emas Resto, Indonesian restaurant located at Lippo Mall Puri, 1st floor.

Although specializes in Indonesian cuisine, the place does not look like the other Indonesian restaurants. It was dominated by white vibes with the use of wooden elements  that make it look charming and comfy.

Tahu Telor

Starting with the appetizers, we tried Tahu Telor. This is a deep fried tofu and bitten egg served with cucumber, bean sprout, leek, and chili soy sauce. The sweet and sour flavors are combined very well.

Gurame Pesmol

Indonesian cuisine is not complete without deep fried gurame. The gurame is deep fried to perfection and served with pesmol sauce. It’s a good food to share and we love the sauce so much!

Iga Bakar Kecap

From all the dishes we’ve tried, this is the champion! Grill of beef ribs with herb and sweet soy sauce, served with sambal and hot vegetable soup. The beef ribs were incredibly well seasoned and tender while the broth was full of flavor.

Soto Ayam Lamongan

Soto is one of the most favorite Indonesian soup dishes. Soto ayam Lamongan consists of yellow clear chicken soup served with shredded chicken, tomato, white cabbage, and boiled egg. The soup was savory and bold in flavor with the balance and right amount of saltiness and chicken broth.

Pisang Goreng

Pisang goreng is a snack food made of banana, covered in batter, and deep-fried to perfection. It’s just good for sweet snack since it’s topped with condensed milk and palm sugar.

Iced Avocado Coffee

Honestly, this is not our favorite since we don’t like avocado. But the coffee and chocolate ice cream was good. If you’re avocado lover we guess that you’ll love this one.

Es Pisang Ungu

One of the most popular dessert from Sulawesi is their Es Pisang Ungu. It’s the reconstruct of traditional dessert from South Sulawesi served with mochi and crushed ice. The banana is very aromatic and the sweet taste of natural fruits adds a nice balance to the sweet syrup.
