The popularity of the ice cream started around 2013 and now there are many companies and individual vendors offering soft serve vanilla ice cream with real honeycomb, but the original brand that started the trend is “Softree”.

[KOREA] SULBING (설빙) KOREAN DESSERT CAFE – Seoul

Korean dessert craze started happening in Indonesia the last few years. It can be largely attributed to Sulbing (설빙) Korean Dessert Cafe, a famous Korean dessert cafe which originated in Busan, South Korea. If you head to downtown Seoul, it’s almost impossible to miss a Sulbing outlet, since they expanded to an enormous 490 franchise outlets in only one year. They claim to be “The Original Dessert Café Enterprise”, and most Bingsu cafes and items you see now, are in fact copied from / inspired by them.
