[VIETNAM] THIEN CUNG CAVE, HALONG BAY – Travel Diary

There are many beautiful caves to explore throughout Halong Bay, but perhaps the most interesting and legend-filled of all is the unique winding pathway through the “Heavenly Palace,” Thien Cung Cave. It’s situated on the south-west side the bay, 4 kilometers from the wharf outside of Halong city, at the height of 25 meters above the sea level with 10,000 square meters of complicated interior structure, leveling, and high ceiling.

[VIETNAM] HALONG BAY – Travel Guide

If you type ‘Vietnam’ into Google image search, surely you’ll find the first page filled almost entirely with images of Halong Bay. No wonder as Vietnam and Halong Bay as two things inseparable. Halong Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site made up of thousands of limestone isles formed over 500 million years with warm emerald lagoons, caves, and fishing villages.
