[TAIWAN] SUN MOON LAKE – Travel Guide

In this post, we’ll be sharing our travel experience in Taiwan when we go to Sun Moon Lake. We go to Sun Moon Lake after our stay in Alishan. Nestled at 760 meters, Sun Moon Lake (日月潭; pinyin: Rìyuè tán) is famous for its clear, sparkling blue water set against a picturesque mountain backdrop. This is the largest lake in Taiwan as well as a tourist attraction. It has also been a center of aboriginal life for thousands of years, with aboriginal people involved in its tourist industry since the 1930s.

[SINGAPORE] AH SENG BAK KUT TEH – Bugis

When in Singapore, don’t forget to eat Bak Kut Teh, one of the signature dishes from Singapore. Bak Kut Teh is a traditional Chinese soup and the name itself actually means “Meat Bone Tea” and at its simplest, consists of meaty pork ribs simmered in a complex broth of herbs and spices (including star anise, cinnamon, cloves, dang gui, fennel seeds, and garlic). And yes the broth was made from pork ribs bone.

Meatballs or more commonly known as “Bakso” in Indonesian is one of the most popular traditional food in Indonesia. Usually, meatballs made of beef and can be found in mobile carts. In Tanjung Duren, there is a famous place to eat meatballs, namely Bakso Jawir.
