This is a must visit tea house in Taiwan, especially when you go to Taichung. This tea house has a peaceful ambiance to enjoy many various tea and dishes. they originated in Taichung, but now they already expand and have many branches in Taiwan and Japan.
For this time, I visited Chun Shui Tang branch located in Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall (National Theater Concert Hall).
From the outside, it looks like a luxury restaurant. The waiters were also very friendly and professional. Once seated, the waiter gave the menu along with the recommendation that a favorite food at this place. Then finally we ordered pearl tea milk and beef noodle with XO sauce, which is there are their specialties.
This one above is Pearl Milk Tea. Chun Shui Tang was known as the most famous brand and #1 for Bubble Milk Tea in Taiwan. The milk tea is tasty and the pearl balls are very soft made from tapioca flour.
Pearl milk tea is the signature beverages from Chun Shui Tang and the most iconic beverage in Taiwan. It’s Taiwanese tea-based drink invented in Taichung in the 1980s.
In addition, we also ordered Beef Noodle with XO Sauce, as recommended by the waiter. It’s also one of their specialty dishes. I think it’s one of the best beef noodles in Taiwan.
