In this Christmas, The Park Lane Hotel Jakarta has a unique concept with Beary Christmas Tree. The Park Lane Hotel is collaborating with Batik Smear, a stalwart Indonesian Batik Industry located in Central Java.
The Launching Event of Beary Christmas Tree was held on Tuesday,29th November 2016 at The Park Lane Hotel, Jakarta. This event was also attended by special guest, Lois Merry Tangel (Miss Tourism Indonesia 2016), Mr. Ardianto Soewono (CEO of Batik Semar), and Mrs. Pinta Manullang Panggabean (Founder of YAI), Darrel Cartwright (General Manager of The Park Lane Jakarta), and the management of Park Lane Hotel.
The Beary Christmas Tree is made from one thousand Teddy Bear wearing Batik and The Park Lane shirt proudly designed and created by Indonesian local product. Beautified by 39 forsythia flowers, with the height of 9 meters and diameter 2.65 meters, The Beary Christmas Tree was built in 7 days.
The biggest significance meaning of Christmas is giving and spreading the love around. All these Teddy Bears will be sold for charity at a price of IDR 100,000 (1 Teddy Bear) and IDR 150,000 (2 Teddy Bear). The total of sales will be donated to the YAI Foundation (Yayasan Anyo Indonesia).
