For beauty, there is Innisfree. For tea, there is Osulloc Tea. These are just some of the other things that Jeju Island is famous for, other than its beautiful sceneries and ecological treasures. The Osulloc brand has much developed and modernized, being one of the major tea exporters from Korea, known for using technology for planting, producing, and packaging.
If you have been to Jeju Island, you have probably heard of Osulloc 오설록 which specializes in green tea. Osulloc 오설록 with its cafe, museum and tea plantation is a popular tourist attraction. It is so popular that it has several tea houses/cafes in Seoul at Myeongdong, Insadong, Apgujeong, and Daehangno.

During our #FoodInLoveKOREA trip, we visited the Osulloc Tea House 오설록 티하우스 at Samcheongdong, a home of distinctive cafés, shops, and galleries. The place is very unique and occupying two floors with an indoor area and outdoor seating with a lovely terrace on the roof deck. The interior was simple, modern, and pretty nice with minimalist vibes.
Drinks wise, the recommended include the Osulloc Green Tea Latte (KRW 5,500 for Hot, KRW 6,000 for Iced), Jeju Tangerine Milk Tea (KRW 7,000), Green Tea O Fredo (KRW 7,000), and Apple Honey Tea Latte (KRW 7,000 for Hot and KRW 7,500 for Iced). There is also some cakes, ice cream, and ice flakes with green tea flavor.
During our visit, we’ve tried their Iced Green Tea Latte (KRW 6,000) and Green Tea Roll Cake (KRW 5,000). When you visit Osulloc Tea House for the first time, we recommend you to trying these two. Fortunately, there is a combo package of Green Tea Latte and Green Tea Roll Cake for only KRW 9,500 so we can save KRW 1,500.
The Green Tea Latte filled much with ice, But for whatever contents it contained, we liked it. Rather faint green tea bitterness, moderately milky, a comforting drink. The Green Tea Roll Cake was also delightfully wonderfully. The Green Tea Roll was also pleasantly good. The roll cake made with green tea sheets and topped with a vanilla mascarpone. It’s so fluffy and bold of green tea and vanilla flavor.
Overall, Osulloc Tea House 오설록 티하우스 offers amazing selections of green tea for drinks and dessert with a great atmosphere. Do note that the drinks and desserts at Osulloc Tea House are pretty pricey, which is considered higher priced than several other casual coffee and tea places within Seoul. Overlooking the price, Osulloc Tea House can be considered as the tea house destination to experience a touch of Korean tea culture, yet in a comfortable setting for a gathering with friends. It’s definitely a must visit place in Seoul especially for those who want to indulge themselves with everything green tea. They also sell tea bags which tourist can buy back home as a gift for their loved ones.
