Gardujati is a street in Bandung and has been widely known for its street food vendors that can be found along the street. Various types of food can be found in Gardujati such as Indonesian food and Chinese food. Although there are many places to eat in, there are only a few good dining places in Gardujati that are worth a try, and one of them is Bakmi Tasik.
Bakmi Tasik is located at Jalan Gardujati, Bandung and it only open at night from 8 PM. It is a humble eatery, a street vendor with a tent and tables for only around 10 peoples. You can recognize them by banners like the photo below. Since the place is pretty small, they’re always packed with peoples.
With a lot of street food vendor at Jalan Gardujati, Bakmi Tasik is one of the most popular among others. As the name implies, the main dish to order here is yamin (noodle), bakso (beef meatballs), and babat (beef tripe). So you will definitely not be confused to determine your order since they only have those 3 combinations and nothing else.
Here we had Yamin Asin Polos (IDR 30,000) and Yamin Asin Baso (IDR 35,000). Noodle texture was super soft and springy, make you won’t stop eating. The chicken topping was also unique, it’s shredded and well seasoned but the texture is quite hard. Don’t forget to add some chili, I love the chili because it made with garlic. As for the meatballs, it was good but nothing special.
Overall, Bakmi Tasik is a recommended place to eat noodle in Bandung, besides my favorite Mie Rica Kejaksaan. It is a nice dish to eat and guilty pleasure in the late night. Their noodle is really yummy, even though the meatball is just okay. Another good point is they served in a generous portion that will make your stomach full and the service is very good and fast. As for the price, I think its pretty expensive for street food with has no proper place and cleanness. Maybe I will try their Yamin Manis (sweet seasoning) next time.
