Local street food is a must try when you visit Singapore. One of the best places to enjoy Singapore local street food is in Makansutra, a Food Center with a large number of hawkers to indulge in a variety of local street food such as satay, chili crab, oyster omelet, and fried carrot cake. Makansutra Glutton’s Bay gives diners a taste of local food with a spectacular view of the Marina Bay skyline. Unlike typical hawker centers, sampler sets are offered for those who want to try everything but simply don’t have the stomach space to! And the most eye-catching food sample is: Chili Crab !!!
Although many new creations of martabak (Indonesian stuffed pancake) are popping up nowadays, this classic martabak still be my favorite. In this posr, i will going to share my favorite traditional martabak in Jakarta. That is Martabak Rembulan Purnama, located in Jl. KH. Moh. Mansyur (Jembatan Lima, West Jakarta), it is situated on the roadside only with a humbly cart.
In this post, we’ll be sharing our travel experience in Taiwan when we go to Sun Moon Lake. We go to Sun Moon Lake after our stay in Alishan. Nestled at 760 meters, Sun Moon Lake (日月潭; pinyin: Rìyuè tán) is famous for its clear, sparkling blue water set against a picturesque mountain backdrop.Thisis the largest lake in Taiwan as well as a tourist attraction. It has also been a center of aboriginal life for thousands of years, with aboriginal people involved in its tourist industry since the 1930s.
Nowadays, Pantai Indah Kapuk food scene has evolved into more interesting and lively. Along with the time, lots of new restaurant or cafe have been popping up with stronger and better concept. One of the latest additions that we had visited is Headquarters.
When in Singapore, don’t forget to eat Bak Kut Teh, one of the signature dishes from Singapore. Bak Kut Teh is a traditional Chinese soup and the name itself actually means “Meat Bone Tea” and at its simplest, consists of meaty pork ribs simmered in a complex broth of herbs and spices (including star anise, cinnamon, cloves, dang gui, fennel seeds, and garlic). And yes the broth was made from pork ribs bone.
Meatballs or more commonly known as “Bakso” in Indonesian is one of the most popular traditional food in Indonesia. Usually, meatballs made of beef and can be found in mobile carts. In Tanjung Duren, there is a famous place to eat meatballs, namely Bakso Jawir.
Jakarta Fair is back! This is an annual event held in celebrating the anniversary of the Jakarta City. On this day, June 22th 2016, we celebrate the 489th anniversary of the Jakarta. Congratulations, Jakarta !!! 😀
Kelapa Gading has long been known as one of the culinary paradise in Jakarta which still live up till now. And for pork lovers like us, one of our favorite restaurant is Warung Larris. Originally from Surabaya, Warung Larris now open their first outlet in Jakarta to offers the best pork ribs in town! FYI, they already have two outlets in Surabaya.
Who doesn’t love fried chicken? I think almost every people love fried chicken. In past few years, there are many stores that sell Taiwanese fried chicken in Indonesia. They are very popular in a short time and highly favored by the customers.
