It’s not hard to find an Indian restaurant in Jakarta, but it’s not as easy as you find an Indonesian or Chinese restaurant for sure. So it’s quite frustrating when we were craving for good Indian food. From a handful of the Indian restaurant in Jakarta, we’re pleased to find out Taal Indian Restaurant, which arguably the best Indian restaurant in Jakarta so far and give it a visit a few weeks ago.

Kopi tiam is one of our favorite places to enjoy coffee and Peranakan cuisine with a traditional feel or to just spend some free time. There are plenty of kopi tiam in Jakarta that can be found, with roughly the same concept and one of them is Lau’s Kopi, one of kopi tiam chain with the most outlets in Jakarta.
