Korean food has been gaining popularity lately along with Korean pop culture in general, and with food this good, it really is no surprise. While most people think of kimchi or bibimbap when they think of Korea, the country’s main staple other than rice is myeon (noodles) !
Sundanese food is a must when visiting Puncak. One of our favorite Sundanese restaurant in Puncak is Bumi Aki. I still remember the first time I visited this place when still a child, where only a small cottage. But after about 15 years this restaurant continues to grow and today, RM. Bumi Aki is one of the largest and most favorite Sundanese Restaurant in Puncak area, and have the multiple branches in Puncak and Bogor. And this time, we visited their first restaurant which is located in Jl. Raya Puncak.

Thai food is arguably the one of the most popular Southeast Asian food in the world, especially for street food. For its many similarities with many Indonesian foods, especially for the use of ingredients, Thai food is also widely acceptable by Indonesians’ palate. The latest Thai restaurant that we’ve visited is U-Thai Cafe & Resto.
Other than cosmetics or shopping, Korea is also well known for their fried chicken! To Koreans, chicken is one of the most popular foods to have late at night. This is probably quite evident as you can find all sorts of fried chicken chains on every corner of the street. During our #FoodInLoveKOREA trip, we paid a visit to the BHC Chicken outlet in Myeongdong and Dongdaemun.
Japanese food never bore us. Besides sushi and ramen, Japanese barbecue is also one of our favorite. From tons of Japanese BBQ restaurant in Jakarta, Gyu-Kaku is one of the best we ever tried and last weekend, FOOD IN LOVE visited Gyu-Kaku at Neo Soho, West Jakarta.
Ramen is always interesting with its powerful taste. From tons of Ramen houses in Indonesia, we have a recommendation for you all Ramen lovers, it’s Bariuma Ramen, one of the most widely known ramen in Japan and currently already have branches in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia.
Aryaduta Jakarta has just launched and unveils their contemporary Indonesian dishes in collaboration with Chef Marinka. The launching event was held on 23rd February 2017, at Ambiente Restaurant, Aryaduta Tugu Tani, Jakarta.
Inspired by the traditional hand game that is popularized in Japan, Rock Paper Scissors is a modern Japanese bistro that focused on Yoshoku dishes, a style of Western-inspired cooking in Japan. Strategically located at The East Building, Mega Kuningan, RPS is managed by the same management with Bottega Ristorante and Wilshire.

Nami Island is a beautiful island with lots of fun things to do. The island has lots of food options, from the sit-down restaurant to food tents and stalls, selling everything you could want.
