Located in Pasir Keliki near Bandung Station, Paskal Food Market has more than 100 food vendors, ranging from traditional food a la Bandung to international ones from Japan and Korea. With the alfresco or outdoor concept, you will be spoiled by the cool breeze from the city of Bandung accompanied by delicious warm food.
SANTONG KUOTIEH & SUE KIAW 68, ASLI NCEK SANTONG – Pancoran
Known as China Town in Jakarta, there are many legendary Chinese dishes you can find in Pancoran – Glodok area. One of them is Santong Kuotieh & Sue Kiaw 68 which has been known since decades ago and even frequented by tourists. It’s located close to Pasar Gloria, and a row of stalls of Chinese sweets and candies. If you never come to this area, maybe it’s not easy to find since the place is not too eye-catching. But you can look for the small white sign board like in the photo below. For more precise location, you can look the map at the end of this post.

Ramen is really interesting! This food is truly sensational and in a way, “powerful”. In Jakarta, there are tons of Ramen houses, it’s almost impossible to try them all. In this post, we’ll be going to sharing one of the best ramen house that you can easily found in any malls in Jakarta, Ikkudo Ichi. I think you guys should know very well about this ramen house, so I don’t need to tell more about this joint. 😀
SOP KAKI & SATE KAMBING BANG HASAN KUMIS – Pajajaran, Bogor
From so many eateries along Pajajaran Street, Bogor, this is our most favorite. A humble place that offers delicious Sop Kambing (mutton soup), Sop Daging Sapi (beef soup), and Satay (chicken and mutton). Sop & Sate Kambing Bang Hasan Kumis is located right on the Pajajaran street, but not too eye-catching. You can look for the yellow signage that is located on the road side.

Soto is omnipresent in Indonesia, available in many warungs and open-air eateries on many street corners, to fine dining restaurants and luxurious hotels. The highly famous Warunk Upnormal originated in Bandung is finally opened their new outlet in Jakarta and Tangerang. If you guys follow our instagram, then you surely know that last weekend we had visited Warunk Upnormal for their Grand Opening of the new outlet in Tebet, South Jakarta. Compared with their outlets in Jalan Cihampelas, Bandung that I visited a few years ago, their new outlet now has a stronger and better concept.
BAKMI LONCAT – Sawah Lio
Normally, street vendor eateries have a simple and humble place, but not with this one. Bakmi Loncat is located a bit hidden in Jembatan Lima (or more precisely in Sawah Lio) , with many chinese eatery in these area. The face of it eatery seemed quite striking since their unique and eye-catching decoration.
BAKSO JAWIR – Tanjung Duren
Meatballs or more commonly known as “Bakso” in Indonesian is one of the most popular traditional food in Indonesia. Usually, meatballs made of beef and can be found in mobile carts. In Tanjung Duren, there is a famous place to eat meatballs, namely Bakso Jawir.
