[NEW MENU] SPICY BITES from Wendy's Indonesia

A new innovation from Wendy’s Indonesia. They have launched Spicy Bites, a new menu that consists of Spicy Bites Fries and Chicken Spicy Bites Rice. It looks like Wendy’s adjusting to the Indonesian market, by launching menu with rice and spicy flavor, which highly favored by Indonesian.

Known as China Town in Jakarta, there are many legendary Chinese dishes you can find in Pancoran – Glodok area. One of them is Santong Kuotieh & Sue Kiaw 68 which has been known since decades ago and even frequented by tourists. It’s located close to Pasar Gloria, and a row of stalls of Chinese sweets and candies. If you never come to this area, maybe it’s not easy to find since the place is not too eye-catching. But you can look for the small white sign board like in the photo below. For more precise location, you can look the map at the end of this post.

Ramen is really interesting! This food is truly sensational and in a way, “powerful”.  In Jakarta, there are tons of Ramen houses, it’s almost impossible to try them all. In this post, we’ll be going to sharing one of the best ramen house that you can easily found in any malls in Jakarta, Ikkudo Ichi. I think you guys should know very well about this ramen house, so I don’t need to tell more about this joint. 😀

SOP KAKI & SATE KAMBING BANG HASAN KUMIS – Pajajaran, Bogor

From so many eateries along Pajajaran Street, Bogor, this is our most favorite. A humble place that offers delicious Sop Kambing (mutton soup), Sop Daging Sapi (beef soup), and Satay (chicken and mutton). Sop & Sate Kambing Bang Hasan Kumis is located right on the Pajajaran street, but not too eye-catching. You can look for the yellow signage that is located on the road side.

KEDAI SOTO IBU RAHAYU – Pajajaran, Bogor

Soto is omnipresent in Indonesia, available in many warungs and open-air eateries on many street corners, to fine dining restaurants and luxurious hotels. Because it is always served warm with a tender texture, it is considered an Indonesian comfort food. The spread of soto in Indonesian archipelago was followed by the localization of Soto’s recipe, according to available ingredients and distinctive local taste. As the result, myriad soto recipes and variations can be found in Indonesia and you can find some of the best in Kedai Soto Ibu Rahayu, one of the best Soto in Bogor so far.

CHUNG GI WA – Central Park Mall

You can guess how happy we are when we knew Chung Gi Wa has opened at Central Park Mall. Just around our neighborhood! We could be in this mall 3-4 times a week or even more, and we were very happy with the presence of Chung Gi Wa which gives us more restaurant options in Central Park Mall. Chung Gi Wa located on 2nd floor of Central Park Mall, right next to Urban Kitchen.
