BAKMI LONCAT – Sawah Lio
Normally, street vendor eateries have a simple and humble place, but not with this one. Bakmi Loncat is located a bit hidden in Jembatan Lima (or more precisely in Sawah Lio) , with many chinese eatery in these area. The face of it eatery seemed quite striking since their unique and eye-catching decoration.

Located strategically in Pluit area, across Bakpau A1 and Bank Danamon, Ottoman’s Coffee Brewer is the strong contender for another Coffee Shop in North Jakarta area. Although many new creations of martabak (Indonesian stuffed pancake) are popping up nowadays, this classic martabak still be my favorite. In this posr, i will going to share my favorite traditional martabak in Jakarta. That is Martabak Rembulan Purnama, located in Jl. KH. Moh. Mansyur (Jembatan Lima, West Jakarta), it is situated on the roadside only with a humbly cart.

[SINGAPORE] AH SENG BAK KUT TEH – Bugis
When in Singapore, don’t forget to eat Bak Kut Teh, one of the signature dishes from Singapore. Bak Kut Teh is a traditional Chinese soup and the name itself actually means “Meat Bone Tea” and at its simplest, consists of meaty pork ribs simmered in a complex broth of herbs and spices (including star anise, cinnamon, cloves, dang gui, fennel seeds, and garlic). And yes the broth was made from pork ribs bone.
