Italian & western food is always interesting and can easily be found in Jakarta. However, they are known to be a little bit pricey and only a few restaurants serving Italian and western food with good quality and good concept at an affordable price. One of them is Frescoristo Steak & Pasta.

Frescorito located at Jalan Iskandar Muda, South Jakarta. More precisely, it’s located between Mall Gandaria City and Pondok Indah Mall. A more guidance for you, if you’re coming from Gandaria City, keep straight on about 500 meters but don’t take the underpass! You’ll easily find Frescoristo signage after Bank Mandiri and Gepuk Ny. Ong.

The place was pretty small and not too spacious, but it’s very nice with garden and Italian vibes. Frescoristo consists of 2 floors. The interior design of was nice with garden and water feature in front. There is also Italian style architecture and mural that makes the ambiance feels cozy and homey.

The second floor is designed with more homey ambiance with sofa and coffee table. There is also many games available such as UNO, saboteur, and many more board games. It’s also a perfect place for a birthday party, small gathering, or hangout with a group of friends since you can stay for hours to spend your time wth friends or family while enjoying their special dishes.

Fresco Fries

There is some starter menu at Frescoristo. One of them is Fresco Fries, a signature french fries tossed in parmesan and a dash of truffle oil. The combination of french fries and parmesan is so good.

Fish Finger

Another starter menu, the fish fillet accompanied by mayonnaise and thousand island. This becomes our favorite appetizers, we love the deep fried battered dory fish and it’s well combined with both the mayonnaise and thousand island.

Stroganoff

This is one of the rice menu from Frescoristo. The personal twist of Stroganoff recipe, braised beef, with black pepper and onion in a brown sauce. You also can choose the rice from pesto rice, butter rice, or spiced rice.

Meatball Spaghetti

Our favorite pasta in Frescoristo is absolutely their Meatball Spaghetti. There are three selection of pasta that you can choose: Linguini, Spaghetti, or Capellini. But we think that spaghetti is the most suit combination with the meatball, as recommend in menu. The spaghetti in marinara sauce topped with homemade meatball. This one is so damn good! The meatball is juicy, combined with savory pasta in the right level of creaminess.

Rib Eye Steak

The rib eye steak consists of 200gr rib eye pan-seared and served with mixed salad, french fries, and sauce of your choice. There is the mushroom, black pepper, and barbecues sauce that you can choose.

Salmon Steak

Our most favorite steak in Frescoristo is absolutely their Salmon Steak. The 180gr of salmon fillet pan-seared garnished with sauteed spinach, potato wedges, pesto sauce, and sauce of your choice. It turns out soo good. The best part is, the salmon fillet is well seasoned, tender and moist inside with the salty crispy skin outside. Perfetto!

Power Cleanser

This is a healthy detoxifier juice that consists of kiwi, sunkist, pineapple. It’s really refreshing and energized your body with a blast of vitamin C.

Detoxifier

Another healthy drink that a mix of bokchoy, pineapple, lemon juice, and mint leaves. It’s high in fiber to aid your digestive system and helps us to digest those fats from the cream and carbs. Even though they’re using vegetables here, it’s not ruining the taste but give us freshness. It’s a healthy drink in a delicious way!

Frescofare

Italian coffee is known for their high-quality coffee. But in Frescoristo, they have a signature coffee, a latte with a splash of butterscotch. Smokey and buttery! The coffee has a strong and unique taste. It’s turned really good!

Overall, Frescoristo offers a high quality Italian and western dishes at very affordable price. We truly love both the foods and the place. It’s definitely a recommended place to hang out with your friends, small gathering, or even birthday party while enjoying their special dishes.
