From Medan to Jakarta, La Maison is famous patisserie from Medan that is well known for their well crafted Macaron creations. As we all know, their pop-up store in Jakarta recently has been a huge success and now they have opened a permanent store in Grand Indonesia East Mall on UG Floor.
As for the menu, of course, Macaron is their main product with around 19 flavors. One of the interesting factors from La Maison’s Macaron is the flavor selection, you can find most unique and innovatively yummy flavors such as Nasi Uduk, Thai Tea, Milo Milkshake, Salted Egg Yolk, Salted Popcorn, Nutella, etc. that you hardly find anywhere else.
You can get the macaron both for dine in or take away, each Macaron costs IDR 20,000 per piece. During our visit, unfortunately, some flavors are sold and out of stock.
Macarons
The macarons are available in a box of 6/12/18/24/30. We opted for a box of 6 that consist of Thai Milk Tea, Cherry Blossom, Salted Egg Yolk, Salted Popcorn, Ovomaltine, and Milo Milkshake. Out of all flavors, the Salted Popcorn, Thai Milk Tea, and Salted Egg Yolk stand out the most, great texture as well, crunchy on the outside while moist gooey on the inside.
Overall, we’re excited with the opening of La Maison Patisserie in Jakarta. The macarons were perfection, in terms of texture and a variety of mouthwatering flavors. Really love their creativity which resulted in many unique flavors.
